These models represent our idea of a low speed free turbine. The idea was to direct mount a radial turbine blisk on a 3,600 rpm induction generator shaft. We have abandoned this design as the gas paths are too small and our calculations indicate very poor efficiency.
More views. We spent quite a bit of time with this idea before switching over to the PU37 model.
